Privacy & cookies
This page explains what daksystem.com collects, why, who it is shared with and how long it is kept. It is written to describe what this site actually does rather than to cover every eventuality, so it is shorter and more specific than most policies of its kind.
Who we are

What we collect
When you fill in a form, only what you type. The enquiry form asks for your name, company, email address and what you need to test. The support form also asks for a phone number and, if you have one, a machine serial number. That information is emailed to our sales or support mailbox and is used to answer you.
When you simply read the site, usage information. Which pages you visit, roughly where you are from your IP address, what device and browser you use, and which link brought you here. This is not tied to your name and we do not attempt to identify individual readers.
We do not sell anything on this site, so we never collect payment details. We do not buy or upload contact lists, and we do not combine what we learn here with information from anywhere else.
The chat assistant
The assistant is unavailable at the moment. Please use the enquiry form on the contact page, or call +91 80970 24616. While it is switched off it cannot answer, so nothing you type into it is sent to Anthropic. Two things still happen if you try: the dak_chat cookie below is set, and if you send several messages in quick succession we record that refusal together with your message. The rest of this section describes what happens once the assistant is running — published before it starts rather than after.
Conversations with the assistant are kept and may be read by us. Every message you send to the assistant, and every reply, is stored on our own database together with the page you opened it from, the country your connection appears to come from, and the time. Members of our team read these conversations to understand what visitors ask and to improve the assistant’s answers. We do not attempt to identify who you are from them, but if you type your name, email address or phone number into the chat, it is kept exactly as you typed it — so please use the enquiry form for anything you would rather not have in a conversation record.
The text of a conversation is deleted 90 days after its last message. What remains after that is the shape of it — when, from which page, how many questions, whether it led to an enquiry — with no words attached. Conversations are never copied into Google Analytics or any other analytics service.
The assistant answers a limited number of questions per visitor per day. When that limit is reached it offers a short form; if you fill it in, your details and the questions you asked in that conversation are emailed to our sales mailbox and handled exactly like an enquiry from the contact page.
Cookies this site sets
Six, in full. The four beginning dak_are set by us and are marked HttpOnly, which means no script running on the page — including Google’s — can read them.

You can delete or block all of them in your browser settings, and the site will work normally without them. Blocking them means we cannot tell that your visit happened, which is a cost we accept.

These services operate outside India, so information reaching them is processed abroad. We share nothing with anyone else, and we do not sell or rent your information to anybody.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our email for as long as we may reasonably need them for the commercial relationship they belong to. The text of chat conversations is deleted 90 days after the last message. Usage information in Google Analytics is deleted automatically after 14 months. Cookies expire on the schedule in the table above.
Your choices
Write to sales@daksystem.com and ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do so unless we are required to keep it. You can also clear the cookies at any time in your browser without asking us.
Honest limitations
This site does not currently show a cookie consent banner. Analytics cookies are set when you arrive. We have taken the view that a clear explanation is more useful to the engineers who read this site than a dialog most people dismiss without reading — but if you would rather not be counted at all, blocking cookies in your browser achieves exactly that, and nothing on the site will stop working.
This notice was written by the team that built the site, describing what the code actually does. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. If something here is unclear or looks wrong, please tell us and we will fix it.
